Comic-book writer Marc Guggenheim, also the writer of TV’s Eli Stone, talked to Newsarama about the upcoming “Green Lantern” film.
“We’re reasonably deep into it [Green Lantern]. I’m never really comfortable publicly commenting on the movie because unlike the TV show, I’m just one of three writers and I’ve sworn a blood oath to secrecy. But we’re in the thick of it. We’re moving along at a pretty hefty clip.”
Guggenheim indicated the film would be a “fan’s take” on the character. Here’s hoping!

I really hope this movie actually happens and is done by the right kind of people. There have been a lot of mis-steps in this recent comic book movie resurgence, but “The Dark Knight” showed everyone if you do it right, it’s box office gold.
