From The Hollywood Reporter: Don Cheadle will replace Terrence Howard in the Jim Rhodes role in “Iron Man 2,” to be directed by Jon Favreau. According to the Reporter, the deal fell apart over financial reasons. It was heavily hinted in “Iron Man” that Rhodes would don the “War Machine” armor in future installments.
