TIn my opinion, its the artwork, if you really want to call it that. It is terrible. Hardly any of the emotions that the characters are showing match up with what’s going on with the script, every woman looks like they were traced from an adult film, and sometimes Land uses different models for characters while still drawing the same page. Other than the creepy dominatrix scene with Empath, I think that Fraction and Brubaker’s plot and script is completely servicable and would like to see it drawn by a better artist. Seriously, why can’t the Dodsons be the only artists on this book, with the expected fill in between storyarcs?

I think Fraction and Bru’s Uncanny is the best X book on the stands, month in, month out, hands down. Best X since Joss’s Astonishing.
