Batman and Robin come to the Xbox 360 in brick-form for “LEGO Batman: The Video Game.” TT Games, the developers behind “LEGO Star Wars,” “LEGO Star Wars II” and “LEGO Indiana Jones” bring their vision to Gotham City.

In “LEGO Batman,” the Caped Crusader’s greatest foes have escaped Arkham Asylum. On the run from the law are the Joker, the Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze and Two-Face. Want some more obscure characters? LEGO Batman provides those, as well, with Harley Quinn, Bane, Clayface, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc and Killer Moth.

The monstrous Man-Bat and the mysterious Hush are even among the unlockable characters. Batman and Robin must stand up to this villainous onslaught (with a little help from bonus hero Nightwing, butler Alfred Pennyworth, and Batgirl). Gamers also get a chance to drive the Batmobile and Batwing.

The game includes 30 total levels - 15 to play with the heroes, and another 15 to play as the villains.

The game has multiple modes, though no online multiplayer. The game is most fun in its multiplayer mode, with a friend, as that way the gamer doesn’t have to count on the questionable AI. While “LEGO Batman: The Video Game” doesn’t fix some of the flaws from the previous “LEGO” adventure games, it does provide an original story and a lot of fun and humorous moments. Music includes Danny Elfman’s theme to 1989’s “Batman” motion picture.

The game is rated E10+, for those over 10 years old. The game was reviewed on the Xbox 360. It’s also available on the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS and PC.
