Dear Mr Bova>
I wonder why you thought it necessary to steal our title "Return to Mars" (Magistra 1989 and Black Rabbit Press 2003) by Crowley and Pollock? In case you don't know, and why should you, Pollock and Austin are the same person. I changed my name to Austin in 1998.
What else do you intend to steal? There is a thing called copyright which extends to the ideas and concepts registered in respect of Return to Mars but you wouldn't care about that triviality, would you? In case you think our work ended with this book, there was "The Dragon's Tail" which led to the death of at least two persons, again by Austin & Crowley, who is sadly deceased. We respect the fact that you write fiction and we wrote non-fiction but your efforts in respect of Mars do not make you an expert on that planet, if there is any such thing considering the incredible volume of NASA lies told about it.

That's the whole interview! I thought he had some great perspectives, as well, and the book is a good, thought-provoking read.

I absoloutely love this interview, Matt! Is there more? Can I read it? Given the current economic situation now may not be the best time for Mars missions, but given what the space race and moon shots did for America and technological progress how could the attempt to go to Mars not be undertaken? I'm going to add these books to my 'to read' list so it's enqueued with a ton of other stuff, but if you have any more of this author's perspectives I'd love to hear them. Good line of questions, by the way.
