Newsarama has revealed the Alex Ross painting that will serve as the covers for parts 2-4 parts 2, 4 and 5 of the “New Krypton” storyline in Superman #681, Action Comics #871 and Supergirl #35.
“Supergirl” #35 is written by Tulsa’s Sterling Gates. James Robinson is the writer of “Superman,” and Geoff Johns writes “Action Comics.”

I think the only thing better than Alex Ross is Sterling Gates.
Looks like the streams are getting crossed this October/November…

Those are pretty sweet. There in the middle, is that a new Nightwing and Flamebird from Kandor? Plus can’t get cooler than Krypto.

Do we really need a new Nightwing and Flamebird? What’s wrong with the ones we have?

You mean Dick Grayson? Or the Silver Age guys? Or the Power Girl/Supergirl team?
I’m assuming these guys are the modern versions of the Silver Age guys, but then, I haven’t read the story yet, obviously! I’m hopeful it’ll be cool because of the talent involved!

Re: Nightwing and Flamebird
They’re not who you think they are.
And New Krypton needs them very, very much.

Talk about an “illegal alien” challenge. With this influx of super powered Kryptonians, evidently bent on taking our world for themselves, I’d say America, indeed all of the world, has a not so small problem. Thank heaven this is only fiction! Because I’m betting these Krypts never heard of anything like “the prime directive!”
