Jason Statham, AP
Comics2film reports on a conversation between actor Jason Statham and writer-artist-director Frank Miller. Statham apparently has much love for Marvel Comics’ Man without Fear.
“Absolutely, just give me the chance, I would love to be Daredevil,” the article quotes.
Daredevil was last seen on the big screen portrayed by Ben Affleck in 2003.
The question all of this begs, however, is would Frank Miller be interested in directing a “Daredevil” film starring Jason Statham? That seems very interesting.

Sure, Statham is fantastic in, well, anything. But as Matt Murdock? I think he’d be great under the mask…
But as trial trying blind attorney Matt Murdock? hmmm…
I think there’s nothing wrong with making another Daredevil, i certainly enjoyed the first one, and the directors cut is the way to go on that one…
And yes, Elektra The Movie ranks up there with Mummy 3.
BUT… Daredevil the comics have been FANTASTIC since Bendis took over, his run is one for the ages, and Bru’s current run is just as riveting.
It’s a street level DD, one who gets hurt way too much and just lives in a world of fear… yet remains anything but afraid.
I think it’d be interesting to see Statham as DD, but it would mean he’d have to get some hair.

Statham looks more like Battlin’ Jack to me. (Did you see him in the Bank Job? Excellent.)

I haven’t seen the Bank Job, but I keep hearing good things.
Staham would make a good anything, really, but if he’s looking for a superhero… maybe… Moon Knight? The good Moon Knight?
Or… Iron Fist?
Or… Catman of the Secret Six?
Heck, a Jason Statham as Jarvis the Butler would probably still be a kick ass movie.
