It’s a testament to the clear vision of the company and the writers that a story with so many cooks still came out so delicious.
I know it’s horribly costly and practically infeasible, but I’d love to see another shared universe pop up — like Crossgen or Valiant — where there’s a clear thru-line. Individual books have their stories and villains, but, like Valiant’s Spider-Aliens or Crossgen’s Sigil, a major connection for those inevitable big event books.
