For my Los Angeles-based readers, here’s a cool announcement: J.M. DeMatteis (”Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt,” “Justice League International”) will appear at Meltdown Comics, 7522 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, on Free Comic Book Day.

The event celebrates the new BOOM! Studios release of “The Stardust Kid” TPB during Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, May 3rd from noon to 2pm.
