“Watchmen” toys first look
Entertainment Weekly has the first look at toys based on the “Watchmen” film, coming from DC Direct. They’re slated to be out in January, but DC will unveil them at this weekend’s New York Comic Con.
(Some of you may remember there were DC Direct action figures planned around the 15th anniversary of Watchmen, but those fell through when Moore pulled his support for the 15th anniversary hardcover and toy line. Since he has already pulled his support for the movie, however, DC seems to have nothing to lose here. And Dave Gibbons seems pretty happy with what’s going on with the film.)
