Durant to rep Sonics at Lottery
ROY winner Kevin Durant will represent the Sonics at the Draft Lottery on May 20 in Secaucus, N.J.
You can read my story here.
Players, coaches and front office personnel normally take some sort of good luck charm to the event hoping to get their team a top three selection in the draft. No word on what, if anything, Durant might take.
The Sonics are currently slated to pick second and are guaranteed a top five pick.
The consensus top two picks this year are Kansas State forward Michael Beasley and Memphis point guard Derrick Rose.

PHILLIP,
JUST CAME FROM THE COURTHOUSE. NOW, DO YOU SEE WHAT WE MEAN BY HOME-COURT ADVANTAGE?? JUDGE PARCHMAN HAS DENIED CLAY-BOY’S REQUEST FOR THE FINANCIAL DAMAGES TO BE DETERMINED AFTER HIS “SUPPOSED” VICTORY AT TRIAL, AND, WROTE A SIDE-ADDENDUM ABOUT CLAY-BOY WANTING TO CHANGE THE RULES OF HER COURT AS HE GOES ALONG. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN THIS CITY. THIS ISNT OKI-HOMAS!!!!LOL!!! YOU WANNABE SEASON-TICKET HOLDERS FOR NEXT YEAR’S TEAM IN OKIE CITY, BETTER START TRYING TO GET THOSE DEPOSITS BACK (IT TAKES MONTHS TO GET THOSE REFUNDS FROM THE NBA TEAM). OR, PHILLIP, IS IT STILL SMOKE-N-MIRRORS????LOL!!! SEE YA’ALL IN JUNE!!!
DM, GOT SOME BREEZY’S LINED UP FOR YA BRO, IF YOU MAKE IT!!! AND, ALL THE COFFEE YA CAN DRINK!!!
MIKE U.
Mike, you got the judges name wrong……and the caps lock is still stuck on your mom’s computer.
It would seem the smart people in Seattle have more sense than to come to an OKC website spewing garbage.
And the beatdowns just keep coming eh okies? Did you honestly think stealing our team was going to be easy? This isn’t like buying a pig at 4H, throwing it in the back of that rusty ‘96 Ford F150, and taking to your backyard to let it roll around in its own filth.
Stick to college sports okies, you are better at them.
Small time town just wanting to be important….
As bad as the Sonics suck, the Mariniers are just as bad……are they playing for a high draft pick too? hahahaha
Seattle really is a huge, ugly black hole when it comes to sports.
Its going to be funny watching the Sooners stomp a mudhole in their sorry excuse for a college football team in Seattle in September.
At least they can drive down to Oregon to watch decent sports.
mickey, do those comments suprise? imagine if your company made you relocate from seattle to okc. most anyone would rather die!
joey, as well as, the only state that will survive a recession!LOL! hey phillip, put the thieving tools down for a minute, and, LISTEN UP!! just came from the courthouse again, and, Judge Pechman has made another ruling (although you might say a small one) against the sonics. BUT, this time in her ruling she makes mention of the sonics not making a good-faith effort to confer on discovery disputes, attempting to circumvent the same Judge that is residing over both trials, by pushing this motion forward. gossip around the courthouse, of course, was rampant, but, it seems again the sonics attorney’s from okie city just do not understand federal law!!LOL! go ahead phillip, call it home-court advantage, and, talk of all the appeals the sonics will be able to make, but, understand this. she will issue an injunction during the appeals process, and, this will stymy ol’ clay-boy over the next 5 YEARS! DIDNT WE ALREADY TELL HIM TO NOT BRING A LASSO TO A GUNFIGHT!!lol!! SEE YA’ALL IN JUNE!!

p.s. hey phillip, at least i have a mother, not a sister who was my mother (my mom threw this one at ya!!)HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! in reference to in-bred folks!!!LOL!!!
phillip, drive to oregon for sports??? we have sports in spokane, tri-cities, seattle, vancouver, and, portland (all within 31/2 hours of s-town). you in-breds are the only ones who would drive all the way to corvallis or eugene for a game!!!lol!!

my prediction, locker throws for three hundred runs for two hundred. he does it on a oklahoma defense, largely made up of 2nd and 3rd tier texans. all of texas and lsu’s leftovers. HUSKY FOOTBALL IS BACK.
now come on, OU gets PLENTY of top texas talent. i’m not even going to name any of them, you know who they are. (NFL single-game rushing record, for example…) the only time texas won a national title recently, they had to go through OU to get it. i know you hate everything about oklahoma, but be realistic.
Posting on blogs is like playing telephone. The title is about Durant reping the Supes at the Draft lottery, and the last post is concerning the validity of a statement as to whether or not OU gets any top talent from Texas. Classic.
Anywho, I have a question. Who wins in a fight…T. Boone Pickens…or Clay Bennett?
ou, should change the school name, to north texas sooners!
bennet wins hands down, he is dirty prick!!
but really, what does kevin durant repping the sonics have to do with OKC, especially at this point? i’m more concerned with OU’s season than if OKC gets the sonics (whom i don’t want).
bennett would fight dirty, but pickens would probably have an expensive trick up his sleeve…
“bennett would fight dirty, but pickens would probably have an expensive trick up his sleeve…”
I totally agree.

Kinda been wondering where you’ve been, DM. I can understand why you might have wanted to give things a break since your blog has been deluged by wierdos and undesirables……
Here’s hoping for a top two pick.
