Judy, I missed the quilt exhibit this time around, but I commend you and the others involved in this thoughtful show of gratitude for the military. Please come here and post any other efforts you're involved in with the military, so our state know of such efforts. Keep reading! Penny

Interesting information provided. You have given this post a lot of thought and care, which is so rare these days. Many people just throw stuff together, just to get something onto the internet, so it is good to see that some people still care. Thanks.

Hi Penny, Great article! I'm with you in saying thank you to our veterans. The "God Bless America Quilt Exhibit" is displayed November 11-13 at the 45th Infantry Museum at 2145 NE 36 in Oklahoma City.
This exhibit captures the essence of America the Beautiful by paying tribute to our veterans, depicting "liberty and justice for all" and inspiring flag-waving loyalty to our "one nation under God."
See quilt photos on www.Heavenly Patchwork.com . All profits from the $100 exhibit rental fees go to provide quilts for wounded soldiers and families of the fallen. The exhibit is free to veteran and military groups.
I'm encouraging all children and adults to express their patriotism by entering their 22" quilts to tour the nation for 3 years to help heal our torn nation. Reserve the exhibit for your next event, 405-751-3885.
