Giving to the needy this holiday
As you prepare to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and prepare your Christmas shopping list, I want you to consider giving to one of the many worthy charities and ministries in Edmond.
Organizations such as the Hope Center, UR Special and EARC depend on the generous donations of people. Many of our Edmond churches feed and clothe the poor, but sometimes the gifts from their congregations are not enough.

The causes vary from fraternity and sorority foundations and tree banks to counseling centers and medical care for the needy.
Edmond is seen as a town that has a lot. I believe that’s because its people give a lot. Besides money, you will find Edmond residents giving their time to various needs every day of the week.
