You might remember the car dealer who had a slew of late night commercials in the 80s. Here I am with members of the KLTE radio Funny Club in 1982 with our take on those commercials. Enjoy.

This clip is a parody of the late, local TV newscaster Brad Edwards. Brad was gracious and laughed when he saw this in 1982 and gave it his thumbs up. Here’s to the memory of a good guy.
Will A Four-Day School Week Save Edmond Schools Money?

In the wake of rising costs to fuel school buses, feed students and power buildings, school districts across the nation are talking about switching to a four-day week.
According to the National School Boards Association, more than 100 schools in at least 16 states currently operate on a four-day schedule. Schools with an abbreviated calendar increase the daily instruction time to meet state requirements.
So what do Edmond parents and students think about a four-day school week?
Tebin Williams, a freshman at Edmond North High School said he didn’t favor a shorter week and longer day. “It would cut into sports and after-school activities,” he said.
