Merchants hope Krazy Daze will boost Edmond economy
Edmond retailers will play pirate this weekend, opening their treasure chests for some big bargains.
Downtown merchants are holding Krazy Days from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This year’s theme is the “Krazy Pirates of Broadway.”
Krazy Days is an annual giant sidewalk sale, giving merchants the chance to clean out spring and summer items and make room for fall.
Merchandise will be placed outdoors giving shoppers the opportunity to stroll the streets looking for bargains.
Although the event started in the downtown area, many businesses across the city also will be participating, said Leah Kessler, promotions manager for the Downtown Edmond Business Association.
