Google adds underwater panoramas to maps service
Google Maps is taking the road less traveled. By humans, that is.
On Tuesday, the company announced that it has added underwater panoramic images to its Maps service to provide users with a look at the creatures rarely seen under the sea.
“..you can use Google Maps to find a sea turtle swimming among a school of fish, follow a manta ray and experience the reef at sunset…,” according to Google’s blog.
