Comic book movie update: Jamie Foxx might play Electro in ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2′
There’s a post-credits scene in “The Amazing Spider-Man” that goes like this:
It got Spidey fans talking, everyone chiming in about who they think the mystery man could be. Some claimed it was Normon Osborn, aka the Green Goblin. Others thought maybe Mysterio, since the character possibly used illusion or magic to appear and disappear. But some thought it could be Electro, one of the most awesome Spider-Man villains ever, because of the way lightning accompanied the mystery man’s entrance and exit.
Now, the idea of it being Electro just got a little injection of “maybe!” since Variety is reporting Jamie Foxx is in talks to portray the character in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”
