They are reporting that OJ Simpson, yes THAT OJ, is being questioned in relation to an armed robbery and there is some indication he was directly involved in the robbery. How funny it would be if he was arrested, found guilty, and the judges sentenced him to life.

Here is a list of reasons you should vote for me to win a ‘Bloggy’. A bloggy is some award I’ve been nominated for. I dunno how it happened but how impressive would I become if I were an award winning blogger? About as impressive as a car made of tuna, but still. Help a bruva out.
I have had nineteen surgeries over the past year. Usually that many surgeries means I’d be a woman or was a burn victim, but nope. Just some weird ass skin condition. I think my nineteen surgeries warrant an award for blogging seeing as how they don’t give awards for most cuts in a year.
After nineteen surgeries means I have little to no dignity left. An award would help build up my dignity. You’ve got to at least take the time to vote for some dude who has no dignity and a lot of surgeries.
Remember how you kind of felt a little sorry for Britney after you saw her VMA performance? Use that same pity for a pretty millionaire and divert it to an ugly no money-aire. That would be awesome to get some of that Britney pity. Pitney if you will.
So let’s think about this. Numerous surgeries, no dignity and I’m begging for some of the same pity you probably used for Britney. I need some Pitney votes people. Click here to vote for me.

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve written. If you’re reading this for this first time it hasn’t been awhile to you. Either way it doesn’t matter. I’ve been up to a whole bunch of nothing other than more surgeries and tons more self loathing. It’s awesome!
I did receive some good news. I have been nominated for an award! Yay! The 2007 Okie Blog Award nominations were announced and my name was on the list. I call them “The Bloggys”. Now how does one win a bloggy? I dunno. I don’t even know how I got nominated. I was nominated in the Best Humor category so that’s good. I suppose. I mean I’m funny, sure, but not too consistent. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to win though.
In order to win I have to decide if there are funnier blogs in the same category as mine. I’ve gone ahead and looked at the other nominees and listed what I thought about each of them in an effort to prove to myself that I’m truly the funniest.
Bee Spot - It’s a good blog. Kind of funny. Kind of quirky. Funniest? I dunno. It’s thorough and involves OU and some good clips by bands I like, but I dunno if it’s the funniest.
Daily Bitch - It’s the name of the blog, not blatant use of profanity, so calm down. It’s interesting to people who find that sort of thing interesting I suppose. Again, not being mean but I feel a blog should at least have a broader scope than one’s own personal interests. Then again I haven’t won any blog awards and that’s probably why.
Don’t Try This At Home - Kind of funny in that way that people with kids find things funny. I dunno if it’s the funniest however. Again, just my opinion.
Friday Playdate - More kid related things. That’s not to say it’s bad, it’s just not relatable to those few of us that don’t have children.
PhotoTune - This is a site with photo-shopped pictures of Oklahoma political leaders in crazy situations. This will surely be interesting to people outside of the state. Not really and not too funny.
Redneck Diva - This blog was voted the funniest blog last year and won the humor bloggy. It will probably be a back-to-back win because people like things like this. Kind of like how people like “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” and anything by Larry the Cable Guy.
The Lost Ogle - This is a good blog that manages to focus on local goings on and is funny. Kudos. Not that my kudos mean anything, but still.
Y2K Survivor - Eh. S’ok I guess.
Bible Belt Babylon - This is a smart and funny blog written by a smart and funny guy. I’m not talking about me either. Shocker.
I think that mine should win just because it’s a pity vote. YAY!
