I’m glad they’re here and what not, but they don’t even register on my radar whatsoever. Semi-pro hockey compared to NBA basketball? Are you serious? It’s not even close.

Oh, and greedy dunkers? Do you realize that the players gave up hundreds of millions of dollars to bring basketball back? It was the owners who messed things up and then got greedy. But since you are so busy accusing this paper of not reporting the Barons well enough, I’m sure you’re just one of those who are just misinformed, period. If you read anything about this lockout, you’d know the players weren’t to blame. Oh well, you and the other 8 folks have fun at the next Barons game– me and the rest of Oklahoma will be across the street cheering on our classy group of NBA championship contenders in front of a nationwide audience!

Not sure about the economy, but the city would have been just fine as far as entertainment. The media, including your newspaper, need to do a far better job of covering and promoting the Oklahoma City Barons, even after the greedy dunkers come back. Professional sports in Oklahoma City isn’t limited to basketball.
