“Bedlam” should be reserved for the OU OSU wrestling matches. It is only recently that Bedlam was used to refer to the football games. This game should be called ” the OSU gets back to back home games game”.
I have a great idea…..how about Bedlam….

As I’ve mentioned a couple different places, we’re not asking anyone to stop using the name Bedlam. We’re going to keep using it. You’re going to keep using it. We’re just having a little fun with the hype and doing something extra special for a game that promises to be something extra special.

I like one I saw in previous comments – “The Thrilla in Stilla”. But alas, keeping the tie to Bedlam might be best. In that case, I like “Bedlamination”.
bedlam – a scene of wild uproar and confusion, Synonyms 1. disorder, tumult, chaos, clamor, turmoil, commotion, pandemonium.
The name has, on many occasions, been bigger than the actual game. If both teams remain undefeated though, this year will be much different. This time it could be “The Ultimate Bedlam”, but I think it is important to remember that it may well be the first of many such showdowns. OSU isn’t an afterthought anymore. With the upgrades to their facilities, for the first time in my life, they are a legitimate long term player and the name should, IMO, indicate that. I like “Bedlam, War on the Plains” Or something like, “Sooners vs Cowboys, it’s more than a game, it’s Bedlam”
Crimsonnationelimination! Just kidding. How about the ‘Thrilla in Stilla”? No? Then how about, “the NCAA Div. I Football Semifinal – 2011″? OK, kidding aside. The name should be, ” the Wagon Payne”.

After last night in Norman, can you say Alamo Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Liberty Bowl. There is a slim chance to say Cotton Bowl.

This is coming from a die-hard OSU fan who has recovered from the “Sooner Hatred/Envy” of my youth and now pulls for the Sooners when not playing OSU… I think the right name now is “Oopsie Bedlam”.
Well Jenni, guess we can change the shift here. If Kansas State beats OU this weekend and OSU wins, then the next greatest game of all time will be KSU vs. OSU. Calling it the Cow-cat bowl will generate nill excitement, but calling it the Wild Boys bowl will do wonders. There was even a rock tune decades ago put out by Duran Duran called “Wild Boys”. Perfect tune for such a game!
So we lost, so what. I think if I’m from Stillwater, I’m thinking the upcoming game in Stillwater is a big deal, certainly bedlam at its best.
Big XII Championship. Since OU screwed this whole thing up by losing to Tech.. they have nothing to gain from this except a trip to the Fiesta Bowl again.
