I can enjoy a good opinion column as much as the next guy. I understand the “one domino has fallen in Stillwater” statement was said to rile up the Poke fans to get them to tell their buddies, “hey go read Jenni’s article in the Oklahoman, it made me so mad”, then the guy might just buy a paper.

I like the Oklahoman, and the fact that what I read might tick me off a bit makes me keep my sub for the Sunday edition. I didn’t agree with the Bobby Reid article, but I also think Jenni learned her lesson from that piece. We all grow and learn in our careers.

I agree with one Poke fan that said the program is stable enough now where they can attract top notch OC’s to Stillwater and continue their rise.

Also, how bout those dominos in Lawrence Jenni? Are there any left? Oh wait, basketball season has started, nevermind;)

Jenni, your blogs have high entertainment value for me and others. Half of my family ,and some friends and co-workers cant wait to see what opionions you have next. Some are OU fans and love to see your “slant”. My point about the people that sign your check also affect your bias. Its very understandable and very noticeable. Feel free to deny it.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. What I am saying is that when someone who wants to bring Christmas recipes and decorations into a discussion that isn’t about any of those things, it doesn’t make that person seem all that intelligent.
If you want to disagree about something and actually bring some valid points to your argument, then we’ll talk.

Jenni is a joke. These are all speculations until OSU confirms Holgerson leaving. IF he does leave, they won’t announce it until after the game for the respect for the fans and the players focus on the bowl game.

Give me a break. How many stories did the Joke-homan stir up about Stoops leaving to FL or another team? I saw one…now I can’t find it because they joke-lahoman burried the story. GET LOST…until the facts are on the table. Bad OSU news is good news for the daily joke-lahoman.

JenniP: Don’t believe any of OSU’s outstanding players are tied to any coaches that leave. Lets consider recruiting the past few years in which OSU has signed outstanding players who some believe will be better than what they presently have. On top of that Mr. Gundy seems to have the magic to entice excellent coaches to OSU. Believe your reply to Caleb is a bunch of DO BS, as coaches leaving OSU have gone on to Head coaching positions, but the team is doing better each year. Seems there is no correlation to team play and coaching exit’s at OSU or the U of Ok.

The fall of Texas helps everyone but mostly OU because they recruit more against each other. Plus, it might have something to do with the fact that Oklahoma or Texas have represented the South since 1999. The divisions are going away but Texas has been OU’s main competition for the league.

I don’t see Leach as an offensive coordinator again. Not sure what I see him as if he intends on suing every person or entity remotely associated with his dismissal. I would assume that at some point a school looking for a niche would take a chance on him to make them competitive despite the PR risks.
