Is this one in the bank?
Just when you think Oklahoma State has this game in the bag, the Cowboys leave the door open a crack for Texas.
OSU leads by two touchdowns with nine minutes left in the game, and punter Matt Fodge just pinned Texas deep, deep, deep in its own territory. Instead of getting a stop, though, the Cowboys just allowed a 75-yard Jammal Charles run.
Now, Texas is within a touchdown.
Unfortunately, deadline calls, and I’m not going to be able to blog the rest of the game. I hope to check in later tonight.
I still like the Cowboys’ chances, but they need to score right now.

What is Gundy thinking? On 3rd and 10 they snap it with 9 seconds left on the play clock, then throw an incomplete pass allowing the clock to stop and TU to save a timeout. You have to run it! Even if they still miss the field goal TU would have had less time and one less timeout. Unbelieveable!!
How many new coaches will there be in the Big 12 next year?
Coulda…woulda….shoulda….
“We still think we were the better team…”
“We’ll learn from this…”
“We didn’t make plays when we had to…”
“We still have alot to play for…”
Blah…blah…blah…
Same year. Same story.
Great offense and absolutely zero clue on defense.
It all adds up to the same old choke job.
Same ole’ Cowboys.
Wanna bet we’re having this same conversation next year?
Gundy gets on my dang nerves. What kind of coaching does he think he is doing. Seriously. What kind of offensive plays were him and Fedora calling. Keep trying to run the ball up the middle. You are playing Texas who only gives up 94 rushing yards a game. And we kept trying to run the ball up the middle. You know Texas is going to come back. Keep trying to put points on the board and let the clock run out on its own. Run up the score. You didn’t see Kansas running the football trying to run out the clock. They kept doing what they were doing best. THROWING THE FOOTBALL. Zac was 30-42 for the game and you went away from that. And Brandon Pettigrew was in his own world and did we forget that he was on our team. I can’t stand to see the players playing a great game then the coaches fold. And defensively I am tired of seeing Perrish Cox at the corner. You got five other boys that can do the job. Texas did us a favor going away from him. And Jacob Lacey what a game until one mistake. Why didn’t our coaches call a timeout and discuss the situation on 3rd down? You got to contain the quarterback he controls the destiny of the game. Just so upset.

No, it’s not in the bank.
Ask the tough questions of Gundy after the game. . . you go jenni. . . can’t wait to read your articles about his one. . . .
