New OSU QB
Zac Robinson has taken over under center for Oklahoma State.
Starter Bobby Reid was shaken up on the Cowboys’ touchdown-scoring drive. Robinson finished out the drive, two running plays by Keith Toston.
But when the Cowboys next had the ball, Robinson was back on the field. Reid is on the sidelines and appears fine, but Robinson took over for the series.
After a three-and-out, we’ll see if he’s back next time around.

After seeing another Zac Attack, this past Saturday in Stillwater, Robinson is ready to take the reins for OSU. His leadership, consistency, and mental toughness compliment his superior athletic ability. Zac does what a QB is supposed to do. He moves the chains. Effectively utilizing, in this case, all of the Cowboy’s offensive weapons. They respond. They feed off him. Plus, remember this … we haven’t really seen him run yet. He’s fast! For OSU, the future is now. My guess is that the coaches and players know already this, too. The public will very soon.
I am so tired of seeing Bobby Reid at the quarterback doing the same thing he was 2 years ago. He sucks put Zac at the quarterback and leave him as the starter. He keeps saving the punk Bobby Reid’s butt. As soon as Bobby gets hit 1 good time he is out. He is not producing at all. Not at all. I am tired of watching him do nothing. Gundy needs to get some guts and bench him. Its not the players holding themselves back its Gundy. If you want to be a contender then do whats right for your team. Put someone in there as the quarterback whom has some heart and plays hard every down. I am tired of seeing you guys run the option with Bobby and he doesn’t even run hard. You can see the complete difference of him and Zac. Go ahead and admit you made a horrible mistake by choosing Bobby over Donovan a few seasons back. Are you afraid of that? It seems like it. You dont want to bench someone that is only a practice quarterback. I am tired of hearing you talk about his upside the man has been in your system longer than any of the other big 12 quarterbacks have been in theirs and he is getting out played by whole bunch of freshman and sophomores come on Gundy. And you wonder why you can’t fill the stands and get us alumns to come back and give you money to help build the stadium well this is why. I am not going to pay $60 for a non-conference game ticket when the 1st OU non-conference game ticket was only $47, when you aren’t doing your job. Do your dang job.

jenny said, “After a three-and-out, we’ll see if he’s back next time around”….well, I say….I sure hope so! Reid was down last year, Zac saved the day. It was Zac who again showed today to and again saved the day. Reid may be as good an athlete as Zac…but he doesn’t always “show up” on the field. I sure hope Zac’s back next time around and again and again and again. If we don’t use him, we might lose him. He has great potential. Fedora and Gundy need to move him up to #1 on the depth chart.
