TOP FIVE: A tribute to actor David Carradine

Five cool things David Carradine did before he was found dead morning.

David Carradine

Carradine (above) has appeared in over 200 film and TV projects.

1. Learning the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique in “Kill Bill”

It’s a move that could be called the most powerful heart attack ever. After five well placed hits to the chest, a victim only has five steps left before … well, you know. It’s roughly the equivalent to eating 30 Guacamole Bacon Six Dollar Burgers from Carl’s Jr. in one sitting, and I hope to pass the trick on to my children.

2. Playing Woody Guthrie in director Hal Ashby’s (Harold and Maude) film “Bound for Glory”

In this trailer Guthrie is called a husband, a father, a lover, a fighter, a signpainter, a songwriter and a wanderer. I now know what I want my obituary and tombstone to say.

3. Destroying people with one hand in “Kung Fu”

4. Saying this

If you cannot be a poet, be the poem.”

5. Directing episodes of Lizzie McGuire (thank you imdb.com)

It takes talent to be that versatile. Trust me.
