MUSIC MUSE: Flaming Lips hard at work on new album

Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne and drummer Kliph Scurlock take some to relax while recording “Embryonic,” the latest Flaming Lips album. The double album is slated for a September release, and I’ll be glad if the album is half as much fun as this video. Coyne gives an interesting description of the album.

Wayne Coyne is one of the reasons I love The Flaming Lips. Yeah the music is nice but when you have a front man like him, shit can only get better.

Long story short, I am way excited for this album release.
