Plan 1 is in my opinion the only choice. I live in Stillwater, attended H.S. there and have seen too many times over the years our football team have a great season, ( 8-2, 9-1 ) only to get sent to Jenks or Union in 1st rd. of playoffs. It’s time for a change, let some of the other schools add hardware to their trophy cases. Besides, why stop with just football? Why not do this for ALL sports?

Div 2 schools will sit their starters and run the clock against the schools that are 2-3 times their size, to be healthy for games that count. Schools that choose to have over 3000 students need to play communities from out of state that are like minded in the “bigger is better” mentality.

Only difference is how the regular season districts are divided. The second plan is a little more complex in that manner.
