Some places (businesses, schools, etc.) use IP addresses that are recognized by the poll program we use as the same address. The only way for us to avoid it blocking additional votes from those locations is to not limit each IP address to one vote, and instead limit voting by cookie. Unfortunately, we can’t trust voters to use that system, as we’ve learned in the past. They will delete the cookie and vote as many times as they possibly can. Because of that, we have very tight restrictions on the voting.

Austin Brooks helped fuel one of the most exciting games in Oklahoma football this year. Very deserving. So are Braden and Jackson, wish they could give everyone a player of the week award. As it is, it helps to have moms, dads, coaches, teachers, and friends, and family all voting for their favorite, which is why Austin wins this week. Good job all!

Austin has played at a high level all season. 5 games with more Touchdowns than Incomplete passes is incredible. This week he had the level head to come back and throw 5 TDs after a rough 3 interceptions and manage the game like he did says all I need to hear.

Braden Stringer is a difference maker on and off the field, He is an excellent role model and student who is very deserving of this award.
Braden played almost the entire game on offense and defense. He is a player who is willing to play anywhere and as much or as little as he is needed with no complaint to bring a winning result and that should count for something.

Austin Brooks, for Player of the Week from our State Championship win on Saturday. I think 387 yards and 5 TDs speaks for itself, but he has done a phenomenal job all season (obviously). If it weren’t for the fact that he is possibly an even better baseball player (pitcher), he’d no doubt be moving on to QB at a college team. This will only take you maybe 5 seconds.

I was also able to watch the Blanchard game and Braden Stringer was a difference maker on both sides of the ball. As far as other accomplishments he is also the 2011 State Champion in the 168lb class of Powerlifting.

Watched all 3 games last weekend and was impressed by all 3 players but none as much as Blanchards #10 Braden Stringer. The kid stepped up and made big plays when his team needed it the most. Its not everyday you see a young man play with such passion. I also had the privelege of sitting next to a family member of Mr. Stringer who informed me on several of Stringers accomplishments including a 4.4 40 time with a 360lb bench press. If thats not impressive then I don’t know what is. He is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Braden stringer also had 15 tackles and a fumble recovery with a minute left
