Despite not having games this is still a very busy time for those guys. Equipment check ins, helping their seniors with highlight films and contacting colleges on their behalf, end of year banquets, OSSAA meetings, OSSAA all-district and all-state selections, not to mention their normal school class loads and semester ending tests, etc. They’ll get it done.

Of course, with NewsOK publishing this list, it almost guarantees they will get it done. I’m sure the coaches not on this list have been hearing from parents all day. Which is good. Wouldn’t want any coach to overlook this deadline. A helpful reminder never hurts.

I know I’ve talked to the two 6A finalists and expect to add them to the list soon. The other two semifinalists are usually pretty good about getting theirs in as well.

I expect this list will grow quite a bit over the next day or two.
