Ryan, thanks for your response about Lawton and Edmond North. I was wondering if you could give some specific comparisons between the two teams that might be separating one or the other at this point?? It seems both teams have played one decent opponent so far. Just excited to see your thoughts on two of the better teams in the West and see your thoughts on strengths and weaknesses for both teams.

It’s a legitimate question. There’s not much gap there. I don’t think everyone was making ESF out as the best in the West, although many were. Santa Fe’s line play is/was concerning. I’ll keep an eye on those two, though I don’t expect either to be challenged much in the next couple weeks.

They’ll be considered but none of the three teams they’ve beaten has won a game this year. That makes it hard to put them ahead of those other teams to this point. They’ll get a challenge this week against Cherokee. A tight game there–even if it’s in a loss–will make me give strong consideration to Wesleyan.

Just asking about Class 6A. If you thought Santa Fe was better than Lawton last week and Edmond North beat Santa Fe whats the justification for Edmond North not being ahead of Lawton? Everyone was making Santa Fe out to be the best in the West??
