Never attempt to live in the shadow of your father, only live to be a blessing to others and carve your own path in life. Besides being the greatest athlete in Millwood/Oklahoma history, your father was also truly a caring and loving young man who attempted to please everyone. Sometimes in life choices are made that can never be taken back. Learn from your fathers story and understand that although his flaws continue to be posted, those of us who knew him personally still hold him close in our hearts and in high regard. Mandrell was one of the most talented, and maybe the best talents to come out of Oklahoma/ OKC period. Really was ahead of his time and so blessed with god gifted talent. I was also fortune to watched Quintaz play little league and high school football. If there is a kid who deserves a chance is Quintaz Struble. So glad, you’re doing a story on this young man.
