good list, I too would have liked to see Killman from stroud on here as well as Dalton Cummings from Wyandotte, he made every other type of list as an honorable mention and the OCA 2a team, surely a spot could have been found on this team.
you picked a good list, there is only 2 I would have not picked, one of the d-line and one of the special team guys I would have had different, but all in all a good list

Congratulations to all these Players. In my above comment, it was not to suggest that the players selected by the OCA were not deserving, but only to commend the Daily Oklahoman on their selection process.

If you comment on these players, you should have seen them play! Before you critisize these picks, I saw Rylan Russell play and know that he is very deserving of this honor! Athletes should not be over looked because of their teams record, nor should they be overlooked because of the town they live in! I put more stock in these picks than those of the OCA, atleast these picks are not made on the buddy system, where the athlete is from, who his coach is, or what the teams record was. I applaud these young men and the selection process in which they are honored by. Thank you Daily Oklahoman.

Would like to have seen Levi Killman from Stroud at one of the LB positions. Good list though.

Again, the bulk of these lists were based on the nominations received for the all-state team. Every coach was sent nomination forms. Without getting into specifics, some of those listed did not submit nominations. While players didn’t have to be nominated to be considered, a nomination along with submitted stats certainly goes a long way toward being included.

this is probably one of the most ridiculous lists you have ever created. davis has no one? comanche? frederick? nothing against a cordel kid, but last in district and virtually beat by 40+ every game.
