Report: Tulsa Union running back Kendall Holmes suspended indefinitely
TULSA — Tulsa Union running back Kendall Holmes has been suspended from the football team indefinitely, KTUL reported Tuesday night.
Tulsa Union plays at Stillwater on Friday in a game that could decide District 6A-4.
Redskins coach Kirk Fridrich confirmed Holmes’ suspension to the television station but wouldn’t disclose the reason. He added that Holmes could be welcomed back to the team at a later date.
Holmes, a junior, has missed time this season with an ankle injury, but has rushed for 933 yards and 16 touchdowns.
If Tulsa Union wins, they will likely finish first in District 6A-4. If they lose, Stillwater will win the district and the Redskins will finish third.

Wow. Between the injuries and now this, Union has sure been snakebit this season. Not sure of the details, but I am of Coach Fridrich’s expectations – some life lessons just have to be learned the hard way. Regardless of the offense, I hope Kendall does learn, and at this point you can ask no more for him, the coach, and the team. Growing up can be tough, I’m glad Coach and the Union Admin stick with their expectations on values, no matter the cost in the short run.
Nice, judge. Yessir, that MUST be the reason they get the gold ball every year, and after all – all those investigations and reviews were OBVIOUSLY fraudulent. Don’t confuse us with the facts when our mind is already made up, right?!

Trimble may not bribe with money.. Better used on illegal recruiting methods and paying ossaa to look the other way… But I’m still skeptical about that sticky fluid running off his 5 chins..

That’s a shame. I wonder what happened. He was a key part to Union’s running game. Whatever it was, it indirectly shows that Coach Frid is class act by not allowing key players to get away with whatever they want to.
