@DHernandez, Orion Jones and Henderson both have LSU interested and Henderson actually has an offer from them. Louisville has also offered Henderson. Oklahoma has interest in the Jones kid as well as well as several other schools. The other starter on the D line is a Junior this year who is really going to be a good one. They also have Brandon Wagoner, a junior, that since week 2 has started coming in and playing defensive line. He's 6'1'' and about 270lbs. He's a real difference maker there. Is going to be another Jason Lohr by next year. When they run the 4-3 with that group, their pretty good up front...

@Josh, I get your point. But if Jenks ever had a great run defense, its this year. They're still a Long Way from the old Legion Of Doom stuff of the late 90s but 2 of the front four are headed for LSU most likley, the other lineman at 6'5'' 265lbs is just a junior but really a good one. When they run that 4-3 at times and bring in those backers close, they are tough. But I have seen them dismantled at times when they've had guys like that. It's just kinda rare. I know the Flanders kid is good, we're looking forward to getting him at TU next year....

@ WestsideConnection, You're right, that MWC is in the National mix is great. Another good point about Union and Jenks being human. They've always been just human. I've been at these games for years and there were times Jenks just barely got by with a win in the title game. Example: Edmond Santa FE 10, Jenks 17, in one of the hardest fought title games at Owen Field there in the City....I think it was 2003.. But you're right, both of them are very human this year, It'll be interesting to see if they rise to their usual occasion, or somebody finally brings them both down in the same year...

THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA HAS THE 3 MEGA SCHOOLS RANKED IN THE TOP 100 IN THE USA. MWC IS RANKED 1 IN OKLAHOMA AND IS ON THE EDGE OF THE USA TOP 100 WHILE RECIEVING VOTES THIS WEEK. NO MATTER WHO YOU SUPPORT THIS IS GREAT FOR THE NATIONAL RESPECT OF OKLAHOMA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL. NO ONE CAN PREDICT WHO IS THE BEST TEAM IN OKLAHOMA WITHOUT THEM MATCHING UP. MWC HASN'T HAS TO THROW THE BALL WITH AN AVERAGE MARGIN OF VICTORY WELL OVER 30 A GAME ,AND A CLASSY COACH NOT WANTING TO RUN UP SCORES ON OTHER HIGH SCHOOL COACHES ,AND KIDS WHO WORK HARD AND DONT DESERVE TO BE HUMILIATED. RECENTLY ITS BEEN IN THE 40-0 RANGE AT HALF. ALL ANYONE IS SAYING IS THAT THIS YEAR UNION ,AND JENKS HAVE SHOWN THEY ARE HUMAN UNLIKE OTHER YEARS. THEY MAY WIN AGAIN BUT THERE IS JUST ENOUGH DOUBT FROM INJURY AND LOSSES TO HAVE THE DEBATE. AS FOR D1 TALENT ,MWC HAS 11 PLAYERS FEATURED ON RIVALS.COM AS DIVISION ONE RECRUITS IN SOPH-SR CLASSES.

In all honesty, we can argue who is number 1 right now, but in the end these rankings don't mean jack squat. The playoffs aren't set up on rankings 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15 etc. However, it is fun to talk about it and get everyone's opinion. If I were ranking the teams right now, which again this is one man's opinion. I don't get to see hardly any of these teams in person. Just what I do see, hear on the radio, and from all the media comparisons. BUT I do hope a west team wins!!!
1 Union
2 Jenks
3 Midwest City
4 Broken Arrow
5 Stillwater
6 Edmond Santa Fe
7 Lawton
8 Edmond North
9 Owasso
10 Norman

So you're saying we should ignore regular-season results and just blindly leave Jenks and Union in the top two spots? Good to know.

Again, you're bouncing from post to post without any comprehension of what is written. On my posts, I've never said anyone other than Jenks or Union would win the title. On this one, Scott had a tongue-in-cheek take on who's No. 1.

Make your points, because there are some good ones there, but at least take in what's being written or at least don't make arguments against points that aren't there.

Scott, I'll tell you the same thing I told the other guy. By the way, what's so unusual by the way, about Jenks losing to Union or Union losing to Jenks in the Backyard Bowl down here. The loser usually takes State by the way. But just because one loses or wins that game has no effect on what either of those two teams look like when December rolls around. I know Jenks right now has a complete change in personell at a host of positions and are really starting to come around, like THEY ALWAYS DO, and UNION does the same thing during the regular season. They are masters at finding the missing links and have a wealth of talent at each school to do that. Broken Arrow is Broken Arrow, by the way. They do the same thing every year, lose in the playoffs when going gets tuff. Midwest City and most teams in the west, do not not have balanced enough attacks to beat these two teams down here in a big matchup. Midwest City can't run Flanders at a defense like Jenks all night and expect to win on the running gane alone. That's what's been wrong with Westmore all these years. They just put eight in the box and shut you down. But you can't get caught up in those scoring comparisoms by different teams. In the end, it all comes down to who's bunch has the most salt and division one players on their rosters, that's usually Jenks or Union and I know it's boring buts it's been going on for 15 years now, why is this such a big mistery for you guys to Rank????

That was entertaining! This season has been crazy! I'm sure you are right about Jenks & Union going for the title, but I sure hope not. How awesome would it be if it turned out to be 2 teams no one would have ever expected like Edmond Santa Fe & Stillwater (both were 1-9 last season)!!! That would be amazing!
