Mustang’s Emily Helms is Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Mustang cross country runner Emily Helms.
Mustang’s Emily Helms won the 5A and 6A varsity girls race at last week’s OK Runner Classic in Norman and is The Oklahoman’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Helms, last year’s Class 6A runner-up as a sophomore, finished almost 30 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher, Edmond Memorial’s Tara Lewis.
