Chris Stiles looking to turn Mount St. Mary around for good
I visited Mount St. Mary’s football practice on Tuesday and shot the above video. Coach Chris Stiles, who has previously had success at Lawton Eisenhower and Westmoore, is the new football coach and he has enlisted the help of former Oklahoma high school head coaches Mark Little and Dale Brown.
Here is the story that will appear in Monday’s newspaper about the team.

There is an excitement in the air around MSM football that hasn’t been present since Steve Lykes’ playoff teams!! Coach Stiles and his staff are instilling the confidence through hard work necessary to build a football program. Looking forward to September!! GO ROCKETS!!!
Nice article Jason. Things continue to change at the Mount. Something very special is happeneing at the oldest school in Oklahoma and people should pay attention!
I’m a big fan of High School football and have enjoyed following Coach Little, Brown and Stiles over the years! This will be a fun program to watch over the coming years. The Rocket players and fans and alumn should be VERY excited to watch this team! Jason, thanks for keeping us up on these Oklahoma legandary coaches!!!
Enjoyed the article about the Mount. Like the article said, hopefully these boys are the start of something special in MSM football.
Follow the Rockets this Friday and next Friday both home scrimmages vs OCS and Christian Heritage. Should be exciting scrimmages, the newly crowned and sodded field looks great. Once the new Press Box gets put in the stadium will really look nice!
I am from Lawton and remember when he was at Eisenhower. Good solid coach. Should get them going in the right the direction.
Check out all those comments. Great loyal following and all concession food is free for any writers from the Oklahoman.

The Rockets will compete at a much higher level than last years. The impressive coaching experience will be evident when this team takes the field. Freshman class has a lot of kids out, future of this program finally looks bright!
