If the Houser kid is going to be a 1st or 2nd round pick then why fuss about All State…wont be an issue in 30 days when hes cashing his signing bonus…who cares. So all the dads from Locust Grove chill out…your kids are going to be successful at the next leve which, ultimately, is the only that matters. In a month no one will remember who made all state and on one will care either. Just my opinion.

Ha Ha!, Sounds like the good ol’ boys that picked the All State roster were ranking the 4A teams all year also. It turns out they did a bad job on ranking and could have done a better job on the roster. No offense people, but when you have a hard time getting to the concession stand due to the crowd of scouts that appear everytime Houser throws, sounds like you just may have missed one. A shout out to the LG coaching staff, a state crown without a single all-state caliber player!

I’m also in shock that Locust Grove wins 4 A state championship and NOT ONE of the 3 or 4 that were nominated were chosen. Especially Adrian Houser. UNBELIEVABLE Just a thought but maybe because they didnt get selected because they didnt the news coverage as the selected players did!!

I’m still in shock that Adrian Houser got hosed on the selection. Maybe his stats and ability just aren’t good enough!! Haha!

Luck seldom trumps “good old boy” deals. And if an all state player doesn’t show up for the game an alternate will play. You don’t not select the best players because you think they might not show up.

Wade, I hate to stir the pot but there could be a couple of potential reasons. 1) Perhaps Adrian Houser said ‘don’t bother’ because he’s already going to be at OU and won’t play in the game. 2) It could be Locust Grove didn’t nominate/send in the forms. Pure speculation on my part, but reason No. 1 is a cause for a lot of ‘top’ kids not being selected. With that said, it was weird to see Bradley and Bundy when you would have to assume they won’t see ORU in July. They’re a clear case of reason No. 1.

Locust Grove’s Adrian Houser is good enough to be projected in the top 2 rounds of the MLB draft, but not good enough to make small school All State? Seems odd.

Wow, Locust Grove wins 4A and not one player worthy of selection. I guess a pitcher with 16 strikeouts and great center field defense is not All State caliber.

Just an average guess, but I assume Bundy and Bradley will not be putting on an All-State jersey and playing. Just a guess though.
