I coach the boys at Jones High School, and I wanted to say thank you to the Vick family and the Orton family for putting on a great event for our young athletes. It was an honor to be able to represent our school and community by supporting Mrs. Orton's name and her cause and fight against the disease. During this time, it really makes you step back and see what is really important in life. It was just a game yesterday, and the thought of using basketball to support a worthy cause such as that makes me even more proud to be involved in that festival.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

I had the pleasure of working with and being friends with Carolyn. She was a caring, honest and courageous person - someone who blessed those around her. May God watch over all those involved in this festival and may He be glorified by every player, coach and spectator as Carolyn would want.
