If he did that, then he must really be a class act. How many other coaches would have done that? I would love to be coached by him. I hope for Douglass’ sake that they hold on to him, he may be gone if he is what they say he is.

I am SO very proud of this class I have seen most of these boys play from the time they were 5 yrs old this is one of the BEST classes to ever come out of OKLAHOMA they will do great things in the future! Coach A is a very modest man and I have heard the same thing he knows that he and his staff did their jobs and he doesnt need recongnition for that he knows the Trojans have his back!

Coach Alexander refused to accept it from what I heard. He was also the one that nominated Coach Branch. This was also done by the Coaches from all the city teams.

WOW! How can Douglass win the State Championship & theur coach is not the Coach of the Year? Didn’t he lose 20 something seniors off a State Runner-up team from the previous year? In the inner city that is a total rebuilding effort, but he somehow managed to just only win a State Championship. Again I must say WOW!!!!!!!
