And Douglass is not playing in the Carl Albert Tournament this year, either. Their schedule consists of the three out-of-state trips, their own festival and the All City Conference schedule.

According to the OSSAA hand book “teams may participate in two (2) or three (3) tournaments depending on the number of regular season games scheduled.” The DFW Hoopsfest is considered a festival and does not apply to the tournament format. So Douglass’ schedule is legal.

I know it is the first day of practice, BUT isn’t there a football game that night. That is a little selfish to take away from another sport on their night. Doesn’t the football team play that night? WOW!
Also, I thought you could only play in 3 tournaments? Their are 3 listed and they also play in the Carl Albert Tournament. Is that legal?
