I talked up the defense in the paper last week, and they were solid again against Mustang, only giving up two TDs. And the Ross brothers are a big part of that. Brad plays like a linebacker at defensive tackle, making plays all over the field, and Nate is the strength of that linebacker group. DeQuante Colbert is looking good in the secondary as well. The defense has given the Panthers a chance to win both games so far.

North’s offense is definitely struggling, but their defense has fought hard and practically carried the team in their first two games. I’d keep my eyes on those Ross Twins, Brad Ross and Nate Ross. Expect big things from those two.
