I wasn’t at the Big House. I was at the Mabee Center for the 5A & 6A games so I can’t rave about how great Douglass was. I heard plenty from the fellow writers about how good the Terry Long’s boys were, but I didn’t get to see them at state.

That’s why I made a qualifying statement and said I had to see the event. For the most part, I covered only Edmond and private schools and that’s why the list is full of their moments. I didn’t see things like the epic Union-Owasso baseball final or the Southmoore boys winning the school’s first championship in track or Bishop Kelley sweeping soccer so I can’t tell you how it felt to be there. All I can tell you is what I remember from when I was at that moment.

well gosh. I guess if it doesn’t happen in edmond it isn’t great. If you were going to do this, it should have been a pool of all the writers for all areas. Way to go Oklahoman. or maybe it should be the Edlahoman

So.. i’m assuming you weren’t at the Big House for the 4A boys basketball championship game.. that HAD TO BE one of the greatest displays in the state’s history! Really shocked it didn’t make this list!
