Congrats to Jenks for being the state champion going undefeated in the tournament with victories over Bethany, Canton and Bixby. And, for the record all the players on the Jenks team are current Jenks High School students. Not sure why Jenks played as a U19 team but their players are seniors, juniors and sophomores at Jenks. A great group of young men who got better and better throughout the year. Good luck to Jenks at the regionals!

Coach Davis and the Canton Tigers Rugby team are a class act. They stood up against the mighty 6A schools and showed them that high school championships are not just for the big schools. I am very proud of the sportsmanship of our team and the pride that they play with each time they take the field. It was worth standing out in the rain for hours to see these young men play their hearts out. We plan to go to Dallas to see them play also. GO TIGERS!!!!
