And Lucie, you’re spot-on with that observation (in my opinion). The whispers of Edmond North aren’t about their physical makeup as much as its mental makeup. Thursday’s win against Santa Fe should have some of those doubters going away. Pumped up for next week.

That’s the same thing everyone said about Midwest City last year too, and they end up runner-ups! We will see!! Let’s go Lady Huskies!!!

Bill, you bring up a good point. According to most experts, you can already pencil in the Midwest City girls and Douglass boys as the state champions. The other teams have been told ‘they’re playing for second’ for a long time. You figure that will provide plenty of motivation for the coaches and players on the other clubs. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Santa Fe lost twice to an average at best Choctaw team after Christmas Break so that tells me right there that aren’t in the same hemisphere with Midwest City. The rest of the teams in 6A sure aren’t world beaters either. Norman is way down this season. Edmond North isn’t strong enough mentally to win it all. Norman North has shown its true colors after Christmas Break. Shawnee is average at best. Edmond Memorial and Tulsa Union are like Lawton in that they are oh so average. I could go on and on but why waste my time talking about anyone other than MWC. None are really worth the time and effort to talk about them. And hey, I’m not even from MWC.
