It seems like every day or two, another college offers one of Millwood’s seniors-to-be.
Today is offensive lineman Davion Pierson’s turn at the table.
Pierson received an offer from Kansas State, adding the Wildcats to Tulsa as Pierson’s Division I offers.
Pierson figures to drawn quite a bit more recruiting interest in the coming months, especially when teams geta good look at Pierson during the spring.
Pierson has slimmed down to just about 300 pounds and is still losing weight, according to the Millwood coaches. If Pierson can keep making progress in that regard, he could wind up being as highly touted of a recruit as teammate Josh Turner, a cornerback who is widely considered the top recruit in the state for next year’s class.
Ohio State and Kansas could be close to offering Pierson and others figure to join in his recruitment shortly.
Pierson is expected to participate in this weekend’s regional powerlifting meet at Cashion.
