Girls basketball power poll: Small schools

SMALL SCHOOL

1. Kansas (3A), 17-1: Last time out won by 41 points. Time for the playoffs

2. Adair (3A), 17-1: Same as above for defending 3A champs: postseason can’t begin soon enough.

3. Konawa (2A): From unranked to No. 3 in the power poll and likely the new No. 1 in 2A in the coaches ranking after beating 3A No. 3 Bethel, which held the third spot in the power poll.

4. Cyril (B), 16-3: One of the best games of the year comes tonight as Cyril squares off with Calumet.

5. Calumet (A), 22-0: Can Calumet remain undefeated after battle with Cyril?

6. Bethel (3A), 17-2: Lost to Konawa but rebounded to beat 2A No. 1 Dale.

7. Chattanooga (A), 20-3: Closed the regular season with a 55-12 victory over hobbled Lomega squad.

8. Dale (2A), 19-3: Lost two straight to close the regular season. One of those losses was to hard-charging Christian Heritage, which is still undefeated and on the cusp of breaking into the power poll.
