Jack Cameron tied the game with a 4-yd TD run set up by Stephen Sherwood’s tough running.

Carl Albert 21, Tulsa Kelley 21 3:18 remaining

Tulsa Kelley keeps hope alive with a 22-yard TD run on fourth and three by Jack Cameron.

Carl Albert 21, Tulsa Kelley 14 8:45 remaining

Carl Albert takes advantage of the turnover with a 8-yd TD run by J.T. Realmuto.

Carl Albert 21, Tulsa Kelley 7 11:56 remaining

The Titans can’t do anything with the turnover, giving the ball up on downs, but Carl Albert quickly gets it back on Gatlin Arnold’s interception. Titans have the ball at the Tulsa Kelley 25 with 1:06 left in the third.

And Carl Albert forces another turnover. Titans have the ball inside the Comets’ 30.

Markell Walker is doing it all for the Titans here in the third. He intercepts a pass to give Carl Albert great field position and then has a great catch in the end zone on fourth and 8 to put Carl Albert up 14-7.

Carl Albert 14, Tulsa Kelley 7 4:24 remaining in the third

And on the first play of the second half, we see the jersey-switch play from last year. Tre Porter wears No. 86 and has Kelley’s DBs beat but drops the pass that would’ve gone for an easy 71-yd TD. Proter’s back out there now wearing No. 3.

We’re here at halftime at Angelo Prassa Field. Carl Albert and Tulsa Kelley tied at 7. Neither team is throwing much, content to work their running backs. Have to love the pace so far if nothing else.

Carl Albert has a chance to take the lead but Austin Manger-s 41-yd FG try is blocked by Kelley’s Justin Turner.

Carl Albert looking good right now in its chance to answer, with the ball at the 15. … And before I could post, J.T. Realmuto takes it in from 15 yards out. Austin Manger’s kick ties the game.

Carl Albert 7, Tulsa Kelley 7 4:51 remaining in the second

Jonathan Buding gives the Comets the lead on a 70-yard fumble return for a touchdown when Tre Porter coughs it up.

Tulsa Kelley 7, Carl Albert 0 7:11 remaining in the second

And Kelley turns the ball over on downs. Carl Albert with the ball near midfield.

Kelley is driving as the first quarter comes to a close. The Comets will start the second with third and three from the Carl Albert 38.

And Carl Albert turns the ball over on downs at the Kelley 31.

And we find out why. J.T. Realmuto drops back to pass and slips on the turf.

Almost halfway through the first quarter here as neither team has shown an inclination to throw. Carl Albert has the ball at midfield.

Not quite as quick a start as last week for Carl Albert but the Titans hold Kelley on the first drive. Will start from their 14.

Titans win the toss and defer. Tulsa Kelley will start off with the ball.

All right, more than an hour later, the stadium is full (at least one the home side) and the teams are about to take the field. Should be a heck of a game tonight.

I’m here in the press box at Tulsa Kelley and looking forward to a great game tonight. I’ll try to keep things updated here as much as time allows but you can follow me on Twitter (@ryaber). Bob Przybylo will be tweeting/twittering/whatever you want to call it from the McGuinness-Sallisaw game (@bprzybylo).

It’s a foggy, night so far but it’s about as good of weather as you can ask for in late November.

I picked Carl Albert to win this game but can certainly see it going either way and figure this to be one of the best games in the state.

Kickoff here is still an hour and 20 minutes away.
