Mid-Del FB POW: J.T. Realmuto, Carl Albert
This week’s Mid-Del player of the week is Carl Albert quarterback J.T. Realmuto. Realmuto, who will sign this week to play baseball at Oklahoma State, threw for a touchdown and ran for two in Carl Albert’s 41-0 win over Harrah on Friday night.
Realmuto play has been a big key for the Titans’ 8-2 regular season and is one of the big reasons Carl Albert is among the favorites in Class 5A. The Titans start the playoffs Friday at home against Lawton MacArthur.
Others:
Tre Porter, Carl Albert: Once again, Porter put in an outstanding performance. The Texas Tech commit had a 42-yard touchdown run and an 80-yard touchdown catch in Carl Albert’s win.
Joel Reser, Del City: Reser did what not many linemen get to do: score a touchdown. Reser recovered a fumble in the end zone in Del City’s 34-7 loss to Putnam North on Thursday night.
