Jones forfeits affect 2A-2 playoff scenarios
Jones’ six forfeits greatly affect the outcomes in District 2A-2 (and set the four teams to make the playoffs). Barring the forfeits being overturned at next Wednesday’s meeting of the OSSAA board of directors, here’s the scenarios entering Friday’s games:
DISTRICT 2A-2
Key Games: Lexington at Centennial, Meeker at Millwood.
Millwood: First.
Little Axe: Second.
Lexington: Third with win or Millwood win. Fourth with loss and Meeker win.
Meeker: Third with win and Centennial win. Fourth with loss or Lexington win.

What did Jones do wrong? They cheated plain and simple!! I have taught my boys, the are from Lexington, that cheaters never win and they didnt this time thank goodness my boys got to see with their own eyes what mamma has been trying to teach them for the longest time!! Im proud of my boys and their team and im so proud someone finally stood up and shined the light on the wrong doings of others!!!

What did Jones do wrong? Didn’t complete transfer papers? The athlete in question moved into the district BEFORE school started. No transfer papers should ever be required for an INDISTRICT athlete. Why would they now? Could it be Jones was successful? Could it be a member or members of the OSSAA board are associated with a school that stands to gain from Jones’ forfeits? Hmmmm, makes one wonder.
