Carl Albert Playoff Possibilities
Carl Albert’s another playoff scenario that’s pretty easy to figure out. The Titans have lost to Shawnee and beaten Guthrie, so they’re locked into the No. 2 spot in 5A-2.
Carl Albert might be playing as well as anyone in the class right now and talking with the coaches and players, they feel as if they’ve turned a corner since the loss to Shawnee early in the district schedule.
So here’s a look at the possibilities in 5A-1, which will determine the Titans’ first-round playoff opponent. The pertinent scenarios are in bold:

Key Games: Altus at Chickasha, Deer Creek at Lawton MacArthur, Duncan at El Reno,
El Reno: First with win. Second with loss.
Duncan: First with win. Second with loss.
Lawton MacArthur: Third with win. Third with loss and Altus win where Altus gains 23 or less district points on Lawton MacArthur. Fourth with loss and Altus win where Altus gains 24 or more district points on Lawton MacArthur. Fourth with loss and Chickasha win.
Altus: Third with win and Deer Creek win where Altus gains 24 or more district points on Lawton MacArthur and doesn’t lose 10 or more to Deer Creek. Fourth with win and Deer Creek win where Altus gains 24 or more district points on Lawton MacArthur or doesn’t lose 10 or more to Deer Creek. Fourth with win and Lawton MacArthur win. Fourth with loss and Lawton MacArthur win where Altus loses nine or less district points to Deer Creek.
Deer Creek: Third with win and Chickasha win. Fourth with win and Altus win where Deer Creek gains 10 or more district points on Altus. Fourth with loss and Chickasha win where Deer Creek gains 10 or more district points on Altus.
