Thanks. I think we found up Friday that Lawton’s defense is a lot better than a lot of people gave them credit for.

Travis,
I edited the post. Didn’t make a difference in the rankings, as Seiling drops a spot and Temple moves up.

Willy,
There’s only been one Class 2A team drop out of the rankings after their first loss this year and that was Plainview (No. 10) in week 1. Chandler, Sulphur and Sperry have also dropped out but only after second losses. I’ve seen Millwood twice this year and I still think the Falcons are a top 5 or better team when they’re healthy. They’ve been without Emilio Gatewood the last couple of weeks and that’s a big loss. It was a great win for Jones but the loss to Washington earlier this season really hurts them. That remains Washington’s only win.

Temple and Seiling did not play. Seiling lost at Timberlake 52-6.

Ryan, quite astute with the lock for Lawton. Now they have everyone’s attention with a ‘quality’ win. Now even Scott Wright has seen the light and grudgingly given the Wolverines some credit.

Frankly, no, Guthrie’s winning streak doesn’t quite get them there compared to what Bixby has done. But Guthrie is certainly getting much better, especially on offense, the last few weeks. Guthrie could very well be ranked in the next couple of weeks, especially if it is able to beat Carl Albert at home Oct. 15.

I do agree with Terry you guys do a great job and I am not saying Boise City should or shouldnt be in, I just know they should have been in front of Waynoka. Thanks for the reconsideration. Get some sleep.

How can you leave Waynoka in Top Ten and Boise City out? Boise city has lost to Shattuck and Springfiel CO (first game of year and they are ranked) Boise City beat Waynoka at Waynoka 29-12 and you still place them in front of Boise City????? Please explain your logic?
